Our Story

The Back Ten is a small hobby farm started in 2018 for my youngest kids to learn responsibility and enjoy farm life. We started with one guardian dog, three Nigerian dwarf goats, and two ponies. I fell in love with the goats and decided to milk them and try my hand at making goat soap. We now have two guardian dogs; a tribe of Mini Nubians, who have the sweetest personalities; a sizable flock of chickens; and two ponies, Nellie and Roper.

We enjoy eating our farm-fresh eggs, brushing our horses, petting our goats, tractoring around our land, and warshin’ up after with our homemade goat soap.

Farm living is most definitely the life for us.
